12th MAN Award
Today we have a very special award to present. For many of us in the Sioux Falls area we were very blessed to have known a very special young man. Zander Heathcote was always on the move. If he wasn’t spending time fishing with his friends or riding his bike, you could always find him rolling the rock whenever there was an open lane.
Although Zander is no longer with us, we know he is watching and smiling.
Last year was Zanders first year participating in the HK Singles Sweeper. He came storming into the building running a bit behind schedule. It took him a bit to get on track but he placed 12th in the Handicap division just 7 pins out of making the finals.
In honor of Zanders extraordinary love for the sport, we honor today the 12th qualifier in the Handicap division with the 12th MAN Award. To present the award to Tori Gunderson is Zanders parents Becky & Mark Heathcote. Along with this award, Tori will receive a $250 scholarship.
